Application Process

 

For both the Premier's International Scholarship, and the One World Scholarship, please read the eligibility criteria before applying. 

Premier's International Scholarship 

The 2016 Premier's Scholarship application period has now closed.

Applications for the 2017 Premier's Scholarships will be accepted between February 1 and April 30, 2017.

Application Forms for the Scholarship will be available on this site on February 1, 2017.

Applications for Premier's International Scholarships include the following:

  • Completed application form;
  • Complete essay (max 500 words) responding to essay question in application
  • Unofficial transcripts of all post-secondary studies to date - in British Columbia and elsewhere (official transcripts may be requested under some circumstances)
  • Two reference forms - one completed by an academic reference (speaking directly to your academic abilities) and one by a non-academic reference (speaking to your volunteer or extra-curricular activities). 

Students must submit their Premier's International Scholarship applications directly to the Irving K. Barber BC Scholarship Society by April 30, 2017 (received by our office). Mail applications to:

Please do not email applications. Hand-delivered applications will, however, be accepted. 

One World International Scholarship 

Your institution will accept applications for 2017 One World Scholarships beginning February 1, 2017

Application Forms for One World Scholarships will be available on this site on February 1, 2017. 

Applications must include the following:

  • Completion of the application form;
  • Unofficial transcripts of all post-secondary studies to date – in British Columbia and elsewhere (official transcripts may be requested under some circumstances);
  • Two reference forms – one completed by an academic reference (speaking directly to your academic abilities) and one by a non-academic reference (speaking to your volunteer or extra-curricular activities).
